FADI’S MEDITERRANEAN GRILL, one of the finest authentic Middle Eastern Restaurants in Texas, has become an iconic destination of the health conscious, freshness seeking, casual diner as well as a source of catering to the entertaining host who wishes to impress guests with fine quality, and abundance. Behind it all is CEO, Chef, and Entrepreneur Mr. Fadi Dimassi. From humble beginnings, he has become one of the pioneers in the industry. Armed with food service background in the family business in Saida Lebanon, Fadi Came to Houston in 1991 with limited financial means, a vision, a dream, and a burning desire for success. After studying the market, and again helping in the family business at that time in Houston, Fadi decided to put his dream to the test and opened his first restaurant in 1997 capitalizing on his mother’s traditional home-made recipes, coupled with a vision to serve fresh ingredients in a friendly atmosphere and clean environment. His first project became an instant hit which encouraged him to expand on his idea and open additional locations in Houston and Dallas. As of today, Fadi has opened a total of 8 locations 3 of which are located in Dallas and franchised to independent operators, one was acquired by his brother Bashier, and 4 are self-owned and operated with 2 more coming soon along the Katy Freeway-energy corridor. Fadi credits his lovely wife Mona, and his parents Mr. & Mrs. Dimassi for much of this success. His, is a family of great support and a greater work ethic. But above all, he owes a part of his success to the Arabic Community who believed in his concept and has been supportive since the beginning. In retrospective, Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill, and Fadi himself have generously contributed to the community by donating funds, food, and volunteering time at various community events.
Success deserves recognition, and Fadi and his restaurants have earned The Houston Press “Best of Houston Award”; and have been featured in major publications like the “Dallas Morning News”, “Fort Worth Star Telegram”, and “Texas Monthly Magazine”, as well as appeared on Houston’s Channel 26. Most recently Fadi ranked 2nd among a group of 8 chef’s in a national Chef’s of America Tournament in North Carolina.
