    Born in Achrafieh. At the age of 16 she married the love of her life Elie and together they raised three children. Pierre, Khalil and Elie Jr. Lili is a proud grandmother of eight. She immigrated to the United States in November 1970. It happened to be Thanksgiving day and the best decision she ever made.

    Lili studied dietary management at Aldine Bender College and completed the culinary course at the “Le Cordon Bleu” in Paris, France. The first 20 years in the U.S. Lili worked at Yale Hospital and Clinic as a food service director and dietitian technician. The hospital was sold and Lili decided to pursue her dream of owning her own business.

    In 1991 she created Café Lili. Lili is a founding member of the American Lebanese Cultural Center.
